2001 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

DATE: Saturday, January 19, 2002

PLACE: Camrose Regional Exhibition Grounds, Camrose, Alberta

TIME: Registration starts at 10am

MEETING: 10:30am – 3pm

A registration fee of $15. per person will be charged to cover the cost of the day, this includes lunch..

An open invitation is extended to beef producers, industry enthusiasts and interested parties to participate in the AGM.  We urge your attendance at the Annual General Meeting to assist us with structuring the future of the Canadian Wagyu Association.

Please note that according to our bylaws only members in good standing will be eligible to vote at the AGM. The 2001 administration fee and if applicable 2001 annual membership fee must be paid up to vote at this 2001 AGM. Invoices for the year 2001 fees are enclosed for active members.

STEAK CHALLENGE:

Friday, January 18, 2001 – 5:00 pm

This meeting is being held in conjunction with the Canadian Bull Congress being held on January 18 and 19, 2002. The “Steak Challenge” is on the evening of Friday January 18, 2002. The Canadian Wagyu Association has a booth at the conference and is entered in the “Steak Challenge”. As the Wagyu Association has again opted to enter the Steak Challenge a commitment from Volunteers and members is required in advance for the Steak Challenge on Friday and for the booth on Saturday . We require one person to take charge and organize the Steak Challenge prior to this event.  Please contact the Association Administration office (1 780 672-2990)no later than January 5, 2002 to volunteer.
